London is one of the most elegant cities in the world. Known for its glamour and British style through the ages such as the “swinging 60s, punk rock 80s, and the splendor  of 90's fashion inspired by the style of Princess Diana, there is one thing I always make sure I am up to date - and that is with designers who present at London Fashion Week.

So what can we expect for the upcoming event in September? This year many of the world’s most prestigious designers will be returning to the capital. Attendees will be treated to gorgeous viewings of the Spring/Summer 2024 collections, that will impact the fashion trends for next year! Usually, the shows take place at Somerset House, and 180 The Strand, but these days they are all being broadcast online allowing us to watch live. My personal favorite LFW designers include ERDEM, JW Anderson, Burberry, and Simone Rocha, but this year there are some others I would like to highlight. If you've never heard of these, you really should get familiar:

• 16Arlington
• Emilia Wickstead - Royals all over Europe love this designer
• Dilara Findikoglu- provocative designs models like Bella Hadid wear out and about.

This year’s BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund winner 16Arlington is the anticipated show everyone will be tuning into as it has become a cult contemporary brand.
It was founded in 2017 by Marco Capaldo and the late Federica “Kikka” Cavenati. Known best for its sequinned, feathered, and marabou-trimmed eveningwear, the brand combines the former's penchant for European couture with the latter's obsession with Scandinavian tailoring.

London is always known as a global capital for creativity. It’s the place where we have more emerging and independent businesses than any other fashion capital.
